AOL users - Not every aspect of the site works with the AOL browser. If you are having trouble with the AOL browser then we recommend that you download and install one of these excellent free browsers:

Firewalls - Some Internet Service Providers (ISP) setup firewalls to block UDP packets. If you are having trouble accessing some parts of the site then your ISP may be using some form of Firewall. Please contact them for solutions to this problem.

Enabling Java - Some part of this site require java to be enabled, below are instructions for enabling Java:

Netscape 4.x:
  • Go to "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu
  • Select "Advanced" panel
  • To enable: make sure "Enable Java" check box is checked.
  • Restart the browser
Internet Explorer 4.x
  • Go to "View | Internet Options..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Security" tab
  • Select "Custom" and click on the "Settings..." button
  • To enable: make sure "Disable Java" is selected under "Java."
  • Restart the browser
Internet Explorer 5.x:
  • Go to "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Security" tab
  • Click "Custom Level..." button
  • To enable: make sure "Disable Java" is selected under "Java."
  • Restart the browser
WebTV:
  • WebTV does not support Java so some aspects of the site will not be available to WebTV viewers.


Enabling JavaScript - Some part of this site require java to be enabled, below are instructions for enabling Java:

AOL:
  • Click on Members
  • Click on Preferences
  • Click on WWW
  • Click the Tab that says Security
  • Check all under active controls at the bottom of the security tab... that would be JavaScript.
Netscape 4.x:
  • Go to "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu
  • Select "Advanced"
  • To enable: make sure "Enable JavaScript" check box is checked
  • Restart the browser
Internet Explorer 4.x:
  • Go to "View | Internet Options..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Security" tab
  • Select "Custom" and click on the "Settings..." button
  • To enable: make sure "Enable" is selected under "Active scripting"
  • Restart the browser
Internet Explorer 5.x:
  • Go to "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Security" tab
  • Select "Internet" and make sure the slider is on "medium"
  • Restart the browser
WebTV:
  • Some WebTV models support JavaScript - some don't. Check the information that came with your WebTV to see if yours is JavaScript friendly.
